“I have the enthusiasm to learn as much as I can about modifying and maintaining cars. If I regularly share my videos on YouTube, and possibly help even just one viewer in the process, it makes it all worthwhile”
A popular video from my channel, that tries to answer all the most commonly asked questions for the MK2 / 1P Seat Leon. I have received a lot of good feedback, especially from new Leon owners, who need to learn as much as possible about the car in a small amount of time.

I bought my Yellow Leon Cupra R in January 2012. It was an ex-demo car from a dealership in Huddersfield UK.
As with any car enthusiast, I wanted to modify it immediately, and at the time, YouTube wasn’t as popular back then for finding useful DIY content. So I would research online forums for tips and tricks, as well as enquiring at my local garage for what tuning possibilities there were. Over the following years I would potter away on the Cupra, with the help of my friends who were more mechanically minded than me. One was a qualified mechanic, and learning the basics from him, gave me the confidence to do more myself.
A number of years later, during Covid, I began consuming more YouTube than ever before, especially car content, and I was now realising that the possibility of sharing my DIY jobs on the Cupra, could be beneficial to others who were keen to learn like myself.
A year later, in 2021, I finally found the courage to record and upload my first video to YouTube on the 21st February, and I remember feeling anxious about how it would perform, or would anyone actually discover the channel or any of its content.
After a few months and a few more videos posted to the platform, my channel had reached 100 subscribers, which felt like a milestone for me. 100 people (or 99 people if you disregard my mum) wanted to subscribe to my channel and watch my videos, which gave me purpose then, to why I should continue to create content.
So as of now (July 2023) the channel is approaching 2000 subscribers, and I have spoken with so many viewers from all over the world. As well as helping them as best I can, with my video’s or answering any questions they have, I have also learnt a lot from them too. Knowledge I can then share on YouTube to try and help more budding DIY car enthusiasts.
